Ventozelo’s jaw droppingly beautiful vineyards yield concentrated, complex grapes with which to make this dense, complex style of LBV. This is unfiltered so will benefit from decanting. The fruit is dark and intense with baked plums and prunes. There is complex spice from the oak-ageing and the finish is soft and lingering. Extremely good value.
